Euro Changeover on Timeline

Activities included in the National Euro Changeover Plan are divided into two groups:

• activities which can be implemented irrespective of the euro changeover date or continuously;
• activities which have to be launched and finalized in particular time period after the euro changeover date

(€-day) is named .

Taking into account deadlines for 2^nd group activities of the Action Plan (activities which shall be launched before the € day) Latvian government will name the euro changeover date at least 24 months before the € day so that working groups could timely and launch the 2nd group activities.

It is planned that the Euro Changeover Action Plan will be updated or corrected according to the current forecasts for the following 3 years included in the Latvia's Convergence Programme.
